Information from School Newsletters
Below you will find information that has been published in our school newsletters over the past couple of months relating to the production and also any letters to parents or other information you need to know. If you have any questions/queries, please ask your child's teacher.
Friday 19th of August
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
This newsletter outlines the information you may find helpful for next week.
Students need to be at the Aurora Centre at 6.30 on their performance night. Please drop them off at the Green Room entrance, (to the left of the Aurora Centre looking from the front entrance), where their classroom teacher will be waiting. Space is limited so we ask parents not to go inside.
Refreshments will be available from the bar in the foyer of the Aurora Centre from 7pm and during halftime. Eftpos will be available.
All children are expected to arrive with foundation on their faces ready for makeup or face painting.
Children know how they need to do their hair for their item. That information was sent out in the last school newsletter if you need it.
Most children will get changed into their costumes at the Aurora Centre. They all need to bring a clearly named plastic bag to store their clothes and avoid lost clothing.
If your child has a book they are currently enjoying or some playing cards at home they can bring them along to use while waiting for their turn on stage. Please ensure these are clearly named.
At the end of the performance students will get changed and as a class brought out onto the stage for you to collect. For the safety of all students teachers will check off each child as they leave so please do not take your child without ensuring the teacher has recorded their collection. We are expecting the show to finish at approximately 9.30pm.
The lighting plan is being finalized and strobe lighting will be used briefly in the second last scene. If this may affect your child please advise your classroom teacher.
If you have any concerns or questions, please talk to your child’s teacher. If your child has any allergies to face paint or makeup their teacher needs to know so they can discuss other options with you.
Kind regards,
The Show Production Team

The cost of these DVD's will be approximately $30 each and orders will be taken from week 5 and be available for distribution before the end of the term. More details to follow.
